Sure, he's been hot lately, averaging over 5 threes in his last five games, but let's dig deeper. His average against the Magic, even in favorable matchups, sits at just 3.2 threes. When he's away, that number dips slightly to 3.8. The Magic's defense is no slouch, and they have a knack for limiting perimeter shots. With LaMelo's recent track record showing he's hit the under in 4 of his last 11 away games, it's reasonable to expect the trend to continue. Plus, with an expected stat value of just 3.31, the under at 4.5 looks enticing. In a tightly contested game, I believe he'll focus more on playmaking than launching threes.
